A Little photography.

This is a kick-ass site, if you're ever interested in some really cool pics.

Steve's Pixelpost

Check it out. Steve Little's gonna post a pic a day, of just cool stuff.

Besides, he's got a good camera. He better put it to use!

check the links daily for his posts!

So long, Mr. Martin. (but hopefully for not too long!)

So, watching the news tonight, ol' Paul and Crew are off to the campaign trail.

Now, enjoying the political scene, I'm really curious to see how this plays out. The public does not want an election around Christmas, as it's too busy anyway, and now we're being forced to listen.

The politicians don't really want one (well, the liberals) because they like their minority government. As well, it's cold to campaign now. So, how will the public vote?

That'll be a really good question.

I predict that the government will be pretty much the same as it was before. Liberal in the minority, with Conservatives next, with Bloc as 3rd, and the NDP controlling the balance.

Again, it'll be really funny if the Liberals get the majority.

On another note, things are good. I'm going to plan to start my shopping next week, but try to do it all in one go. I first want to figure out what I'll get my teeming millions of fans.

Oh, and here's a new link...

Normand's Blog. He's my artist friend who've I've lost touch with like 5 years ago. I'm glad for the personal blogs.

Next thing Norm needs is his own domain! :)

Cleaning up loose ends...

So, Linda came over last night, and we watched some more Dawson's Creek. It's getting depressing. Well, not really depressing, but sad.

Lil' Joey Potter and Dawson are kinda on the up and up, but then not. Gretchen left. Poor Dawson...Poor poor Dawson.

anyway, I'm just taking care of stuff here.

Linda and I are going to go see Harry Potter tonight, so I'm quite excited. I'm so glad I get to go see it with her.

What else? Jasse's chillin' in the 'Loo.

And I got hold of Ryan Wheeler, which is good. I dropped him a line, so hopefully he gets bored, and checks his email! (hint hint)

Norm: You're hanging up your brushes? Every artist goes through a period....Just don't throw 'em out!

And it's snowing...And 29 days left until Christmas. Is your shopping done? (I'm not even started thinking about presents, let alone done any shopping...)

Almost a week!

Jeepers! ! What's been going on?

Friday night (last Friday night), I met trippy for a few drinks, and that was quite the night there.

Saturday night, my dad had a little religious function at the house, so I was busy helping him with that. Jasse was over with Heather and the girls, so that was cool. Afterwards, Linda and I chilled and watched Dawson's creek.

Sunday, Linda came over and helped me with some work. That night, I went to Chris' and met Rich. We were supposed to play a game of Paranoia, but Logan forgot. So, we ended up playing a neat little card Game called Munchkin.

Monday was me doing some work, chilling with Linda, and then meeting the boyz from work for a drink and to watch the Football Game. Somehow, I didn't get home until 1:00am.

Tuesday, I met Steve C. for tea back at the 100th Monkey, which is now open again, so I'm happy. They asked me to distribute flyers...Should I? Not sure. But if I can get some free stuff, I will!

Tonight, just some work, helping Linda and generally relaxing from Monday night's ordeal.

Yeah, it's been quite the week. Also, being a bit more busy at work has not helped things out. I may have to resort to some 'email' blogging, which I think I can do.

I'm going to experiment with the MotoBlogging, as my new phone can send emails.

But the coolest thing is this...

RAWL.CA is just amazing. Why?

I've come back in contact with some old friends who have googled me, and found my site, which is pretty neat.

so...

Ryan Wheeler! Drop me a line. I don't have your email address.

Norm: What's up? Yeah, busy. how's life in the London?

Steve: Yeah, wedding planning is stressful. Hang in there.

Jasse: sorry for not emailing more.

Sean: I miss the beard on your pic!

Jen: how's KPMG?

Ben: how's New York? (are you still reading this?)

Linda: Harry Potter movies are good! I promise!

Chris: Yeah, Paranoia in Jan. Sounds good!

Rich: how's the house?

Anyone else: howdy!

Thursday night..

I'm taking a course for the benefit of my job. It's an interesting course, to say the least. I've met some really interesting people, and got some pretty cool ideas.

What else?

Last night was fun. After work, I met Scott Woodland for a drink and then I had to meet Chris for a drink later. It's nice to chill with friends, and keep the evening on a low-key kidna deal.

Oh, today was the first Snowfall (here!). It was really nice. I was outside, and it was falling quite nicely. It didn't stay, mind you, but still nice.

This may be the last time you'll hear me say good things about snow until April. But we shall see...

Trying to be more consistent...

I'm taking a week off the gym, as I'm getting sick and I have a lot of work to do at home. Not too much, but enough to keep me from going this week.

Do I feel like a slug? Yup.

But even if I didn't have a lot of work, being sick would have kept me from going.

So, my MotoRawlio site is sorta up and running. I found out it's like $0.25 to send pics to the site. I can pay like $2.00 for the "mini-Media Bundle" and send 10 pics to the site a month. I'm not sure yet.

What else? Nuthin' really.

I went out with a friend from high school last night. Her name is Susan Gibson. She's been through a bit in her life. It's nice to see old friends. Again, she used to work at Just Desserts, and then went off to do her life. She's also one displaced JD patrons.

It's funny to talk about how much it would cost and what it would involve to get that place back up and running. BUt it's one thing to miss your coffee shop, it's another to run one to have a place to hang out. A bit too much responsibility. However, it would be fun.

I think I can post?

So, Telus has an online photo album site...Which I can send pics.

I think I'll send pics. I wonder if I can send 'em to this site?

The question is to text-message onto my blog...that'll be good.

so, go here....

I'm not Jason Das!

It's been a few more days; what's been up?

Surprisingly, nothing really. The only 2 things of note for my blog to tell would be the Remembrance day Slideshow I made, and the Engagement Party for Jen and Steve.

The slideshow was good. Other than posting it, there's nothing else to say.

the Engagement party: It was Great! Jen's got a great family, and her aunt Cathy is really cool. The whole Kelman side were really cool. Steve's side was a bit smaller, and it was harder to find them. I only met his cousin, who mistook me for Jason Das, which was a theme that night with most of the guests. ( "hi,I'm rawl," "oh, yes, the ring was amazing. Good job!" "Um...That was...", "You have a real talent. I remember when we met and talked about that a while ago" "...um...I'm rawl, not jas..." "It was nice meeting you...What was your name? ")

Things were great other than that. That part of the night was entertaining. Linda came in from north bay, so it was good to have her there, and meet some of the characters that I often talk about. Yukon, at first I didn't know the significance of an "Engagement Party", but now I think it was a good idea for everyone to meet. And, it's nice to go out for an evening, and meet new people, and mingle.

I feel bad for Steve though, as he looked hungry all night, but since he was the Guest of Honour, he didn't have a chance to eat. Oh well. Such is life.

iBook's Back, Baby!

I got my lil' ibook back last night! I'm quite happy about that. She's runnin' smooth, and hopefully she'll be workin' for the next few years.

What else? I met with Steve and Jen last night for the 'engagement party' meeting. It was good. I'm glad that they are getting close to this event as they're looking really tired of planning and all the headaches that come along with wedding planning.

What else? Nothing really. This week should be o.k, and it seems to be flying by. I'm actually really busy every night, but I hope to get some time to see my friend Scott Thibideau. Who knows?

but I'm happy I can blog back on my baby!

Spotty Blogging...

Man, what a weekend! I was in North bay to visit Linda, and it was a great time. North bay is pretty cold now, and what's even more neat, is that driving 'south' (Back home), I noticed the increase in temperature. Conversely, I also noticed the decrease in the temperature driving there.

When I left work the temperature was 21 degrees! (Yeah for the Vibe with an on-dash thermometer!), and when I got to North bay...4 degrees.

oh well. Such is life.

On Saturday, Linda and I took a GPS certification course. It's supposed to be the new standard that they want to enforce, so getting 'certified' was good. What will I need it for? Nothing really, but it was good to learn how to use it properly and what the numbers actually mean. Like, if I bought a GPS, and the units were in UTMs, I would have no clue what the heck that would be. Or why I would be in Zone 17T. Again, without taking this course, I would have no clue.

Sunday was ok, but driving was scary. That storm was pretty strong. The lil' Vibe was getting tossed like a rag-doll along #11. And rain to boot, made the driving a bit wacky.

Alas, I arrived home, safe and sound.

Tonight, I'm meeting Steve and Jen to talk about the Engagement party. For me, I have never been to an engagement party, nor do I know what to wear, or what to expect. And I found out I'm talking and responsible for doing a game with the guests to give away a table centerpiece. I think I have a good idea, but I'll run it by Steve and jen to make sure it's ok.

Onwards and upwards!

A week!?!

So, where have I been? Well, I've been here, doing what I always do.

My iBook hasn't been so fortunate. Back in the day when she was made, there was a faulty part that Apple knew about. They recalled the machine, but only if it was acting up. My lil' iBook was o.k.

Until Thursday (oct 28). The part that was to be recalled finally kicked, and I took it in. I found out that the recall was only for 3 years past the date of purchase. I was 29 days over. I called, and talked to the Apple guys, and they extended my warranty because 29 days is really nothing. So, as far as I know, it's being replaced. It's been in the shop since Friday, and I feel like I'm out of touch.

Oh well.

Saturday, the Murder mystery went really well. Lawrence's friends were totally into the mystery. There were 2 people who didn't really participate, and not because they lacked a good character, but mostly because...Well, I'm not sure. I have my suspicions. Chris holds that they were shy. I say no. Ah well, this is where we differ.

But it was successful. One main criticism I heard (which is I think is valid) is that the murderer had only circumstantial evidence. Well, to be honest, the entire murder mystery was circumstantial. It was made for people to have fun, and interact. As well, there were clues to point to the murderer, but you had to look really close. Also, some characters who had key pieces of evidence didn't disclose them, so there were holes.

Again, successful.

Me, I'll try to post more often.
