Oh telus, what's the matter?
Again, Not sure what's up with my phone. The only saving grace, if it is at all is that the phone I have is known to be a pain in the neck.
DON't GET THE MOTOROLA V-710.
What else? Almost friday, and I'm pretty happy. I was supposed to go to Waterloo to see Jasse, but since he's busy, and won't be around this weekend, I think my weekend opened up.
So: Do I go to the gym tonight, and go on Saturday?
I know, a bit non-sequitor.

Terry Fox, Bluetooth and Telus....
First thing's first. Today I did a bit of the Terry Fox Run. It's a smaller version of the real thing, but nobody can really come close to what he did. I'm sweaty (not currently) and a bit tired. And I have dragon Boat practice tonight. Hopefully it doesn't rain.
Bluetooth: I got a new fandagled Headset for my cell phone. Before I get into specifics, it's pretty cool. It worked perfectly with my phone, and it was great. I can use the 'voice' commands to dial my phonebooks, and all that kinda stuff...but the problem is that some names are very close to other names...So I need to change them...
Which gets us into: Telus.
Years ago when they were Clearnet, they were amazing. Their phones were amazing, the service was amazing, and it was a great company.
Years later, being bought over and having new masters, Telus has gone downhill. The phones are kinda sub-par, and the brick-and-Mortar store people are kinda mean.
My phone's been giving problems. Since I bought it, it's been a bad phone. I took it in a few weeks back to get fixed.
They did something, and it's ok now. The Phone also wasn't holding a charge. I would Charge it all night, and then the phone would die after talking for 5 minutes.
Telus gave me a new Battery, and that seems to be good. Now: I can't access my contacts. I cannot edit nor can I see what numbers are programmed into my phone. Ugh. If not one problem, then it's another.
And Canadian Chick: Again, thanks for reading and commenting! It's nice to know my scope of readers are outside those who I tell.
P.s: the Zoo is fun, but not on hot and busy days.

6 Km, Buffy and the like...
So, The weekend was pretty good. I chilled on Friday and went to the dentist, and then to Mom's Grave. Yeah, it sounds kinda bad, but it was nice. There was some overgrown weeds there, so I cleaned it up.
Jasse and I have to figure out what we want to plant there. Yeah, Who knows?
Friday evening, Linda and I relaxed and watched Buffy. We're on season 7, which is pretty intense and creepy.
Saturday we went to the Zoo to walk around, and just hang out. More Buffy followed Saturday night, which was nice.
Sunday was Dragon Boat Fall Training, which was a 6 KM run, followed by 6km on the water.
Again, that night, followed by Buffy.
Yeah, I'm in Buffy mode.
She's the slayer. 'nuff said.
Oh, Whoever Canadian Chick is: Thanks for the comments!
Maybe I'll post some interesting things: Like some political rant...
Hey, what about how sucky it seems that the weekends are coming to be cold and rainy? What's up with that? To me, that's some Karmic joke against us working people who want to spend their weekend doing cool things outdoors.
Again, I'm still on the prowl for a Recordable MP3 player I can start making a Podcast. I've got it all in my head on what I want it to be about...
But not here, in fears that someone may steal my idea.
Again, the 4 of you who read, you may mention it to someone who tells someone else, and then BAM! It's gone.

Fan Mail, my life and other strangeness.
To start, I would like to thank those who leave comments, and such. It is nice to see and hear any comments, good or bad.
Which goes to this: Anonymous - I know I set this setting on my blog, to allow someone to comment anonymously. Whoever commented, could you explain what you meant? Yes, I'm in a bit of a slump lately. Actually, just kinda busy to blog. I'll try to be more vigilant, but I seem to let life get in the way.
My life: not bad. Dragon boat training, trying to stay in shape, and pretty much that's it.
other strangeness: Yeah, about that. Dad's been kinda seeing some woman. Am I creeped? Not really, but just strange. Again, I'm quite happy for him.

So i'm not a week behind on blogging...
Here's my entry.
Weekend was good. I went to Vaughn Mills with linda to check it out. I was because we couldn't get into the Scenic caves up in Collingwood. Long story.
Sunday was a brutal Fall Dragon boat practice. I felt good after, but it hurt.
more later.
Natives are getting restless...
is that un-PC?

Man does my phone Suck....
Ok, so i've been quietly fighting with my phone for almost a year. It keeps cutting out, freezing and just general aweful things.
I finally got fed up and called Telus to find out what I can do. They were nice, and told me to take it to a Product Care centre, and they'll send it in for repairs.
So far, so good. I go tonight to find out what's up, and a woman who works there says they can send it out for repairs, but i'll not have a phone for 2-3 weeks. fine. Then she tells me that a replacement phone for the time being will be $75. now, If I don't do that, I'm still paying for my cell phone. I asked her how this make sense. She looked at me funny, and said that I should see someone else.
I know that Telus was (I'm teetering on their service at this point) a good company. I loved Clearnet. They were great. Even a few years ago, Telus was amazing. Now, it seems they're going into the normal grind of Telecom businesses, and not caring.
Long story short, my phone is in for repairs. i lost all my numbers and I have a new replacement phone so I can still call and get calls.
So, if I don't call you, or you're curious how I am, call me. I may not have your number written down.
Craptastic.

Where has summer gone?
Gee, it's seems that the summer has dissapeared. It's cold and rainy. Crap.
But my dragon boat team came in 1st in our division, which was the 2nd best division at the race. We're happy, but still, to be in the highest division would have been good.
For the most part, things are ok. I've been a tad busy at work, and getting home to do stuff, or going to the gym, I'm not left with much blogging time.
Again, i'll try to keep up.
I'm here, and I'm alive. how's things out there?

...as the walls come tumbling down.
Argh!
Just a feeling. At work, and I realize that the shedule that works for for the entire group is unworkable for me.
90% fit. I'm the dumb 10% that is causing problems.
And it's not even my doing, which is more frustrating. If I brought this on myself, then I'm ok. But it's not my fault.

Still Kickin'....
So, the summer's almost over. I've been to a few places, and this is the final weekend before going back to work.
What's up? Beth had her birthday. Dad and I went on a GM Plant tour, Linda had her birthday, and some other stuff.
This weekend is a bit booked. Tonight we're gong to linda's friend's birthday downtown.
Tomorrow we're going to a reception in Huntsville for a friend of mine.
Lots to do for Tuesday.
I wish I had more to report. But alas, nothing for now.
