Moving Mr. Campbell and The Force 5 (plus some others!)

So, I've been podcasting more than I've been blogging. That's a switch. But I'll blog now, late on a Friday night/Saturday morning.

I am going to be getting up early on Saturday to help Steve move some of his things to his new house. Him and Jen bought a neat town home in North Ajax. Most of the stuff has been moved, but there are a few lingering things left at his parents house in Pickering.

Tonight, I got a chance to watch an old show from my youth. Jasse had it on DVD, and I snagged it before it went into storage. It was the Star Blazers. It was the 2nd season, and the episodes I had were in the middle.

I totally forgot how much I enjoyed those shows. The old Force 5. There was Gaiking, Danguard Ace, Starvengers, the Spaceketeers, and Grandizer.

Yeah, I geeked out a bit. And yes, I took some heat for it.

Podcast links...

It seems that the gadget on my site is a bit wonky.

I'll investigate today.

Jasse's gone...and so is Britney.

So, this past weekend was getting Jasse and his girls (Heather, Angeli and Beth) all organized and packed up for their move to Copenhagen.

And without much ado, it happened. They had to sort out all of their previous things, figure out what they wanted to keep, what they wanted to store and what we got.

So, Linda and I have a huge box of stuff to take to the Salvation Army, the dump and for us to figure out places to store.

They'll be gone for 3 years, sort of. They're back at Christmas, and then back in February, and then maybe back in the summer.

Jasse's job is permanent, but that's in terms of what one would consider permanent for a job.

Anything else? oh...

Britney's Comeback. I'm sad. Poor Britney, as she's trying to regain her past popularity.

She's been through many hardships. I was hoping she would be more conservative. She's had two kids.

Oh well, I'm still a fan.

Jasse's Back...

(So's Rawlio's Worldcast)

And he got presents. Well, he got me the Belkin TuneTalk to do my Podcast.

I'm currently uploading the new show, so you can hear it.

Or click this...and you can hear it here.

I think the audio sounds a bit better...I don't think I sound like I'm in a tin can.

Wedding...

Sorry, to answer Beverly's Question (or Mrs. Little, depending upon what you wish me to call you!), the wedding date has been set:

February 29th, 2008.

yes, it's a leap day. We thought it was a cool day.

Easy to remember!

And, only every 4 years!

Rain, but not what this is about

So, Jasse's coming back from Copenhagen.

What?!? Coming back? yes, Jasse has accepted a job in Denmark and is going to move his family there. he's been there for 3 weeks now to get things ready. I may or may not pick him up this Thursday.

Will I miss him? of course. But it's cool to say your brother's in Copenhagen.

Anything else? I'm in the process of getting a new iMic for my iPod. Over the summer, my lil' U2 iPod had it's own Sunday Bloody Sunday and now has taken it's final resting place. I had the sad iPod face come up. :(

But, I replaced her with a new video iPod. So, this would be the iRawl-3. The original iRawl still works, and Linda uses her.

Back to the original point: I'll be broadcasting new Rawlio's Worlds as soon as i get the new mic.

This weekend is my cousin's wedding, so that will be exciting. I'm glad he's getting married.

and for us, Wedding plans continue as normal, or as close to normal as can be.

I can't believe I'm getting nostalgic already. damn.

From here on in, I'll be more regular.

Updates, things in my life and other small victories.
