Happy Halloween!!!
It's Halloween.
The Rawloween party was successful. I think everyone had fun. But then again, who wouldn't have fun at a costume party?
Rawlina made a debut, so that was fun. If you're not sure who that is, well...i'll but people who read this to email me pics, and I'll post it. That's a way to get my readership up.
Today, at work, brought a costume, but I'm not sure if I'll dress in the morning. One colleague is trying to get me to dress up this morn. not sure.
For those who don't like Halloween, you can always dress up for "All Saints Day" tomorrow!
Creativity, weird people and the Reception
So, I think Linda and I finally settled on where to have our reception.
We're looking at a place called "Mondo Restaurante," or something close like that. It's just down the road from our place, so it's close.
For those of you who are older, it's the old "Stairways." For those who are younger, ti's the upstairs of Lava Lounge.
As for Weird people, as I was driving in this morning, I came across a small white civic. They were beside me. The car had 3 people in it. I'm guessing that it's a car pool, because the passengers were a group that you would never think would be together. It was a west Indian guy, who was older. He was wearing an Acid wash 80's jean jacket, a black hat with the metal plates on it with writing. Also, beside him was a Caucasian guy with long straggly hair, and a leather vest. In the back was a guy who was wearing a toque. I didn't see what he was wearing. They were all looking out different windows.
I always liked playing that game....what's the connection of people in a car. today, it baffled me.
Oh well
Creativity. Is is a well where you can exhaust or is it always renewable, so you have it all the time?
I'm afraid I'm gonna use up my creativity soon..
not that it's lacking, or waining, but just a fear I get every few years.
The Weekend...
This was a beautiful weekend. I can't believe how warm it has been these past few days. It was so nice, Linda and I decided to go to her cottage. We drove out and chilled up in Campbellford.
If you listen to the Cottage Podcast, you will learn some info about Linda's Cottage.
Also, on Saturday aft, before going out we went to our Neighbor's son's Birthday party. It was at the Whitby rec complex. We went into the pool, and played on the waterslide.
Unfortunately, the younger brother bashed his head on a banister and had to get stitches.
Man, kids are tough. Run into a metal bar and keep playing.
but unseasonably warm? Gore, you're right.

Podcast Vs. Blogcast
I think I have the bugs worked out of my little Google Gadget here. Hopefully it's showing all of my new podcasts.
What is is new? Well, I just realized, I forgot to say that I asked Steve Little to be the Emcee for the wedding.
He's a great speaker and he knows many of the stories of past. Some are good stories, and others are not so good, but I trust his judgments.
Man, I'm pretty boring right now. I think I blow all of my ideas of what to type in the Podcast.
Either one or the other. BLog or Podcast. Not sure which I'll focus on. THis is the orignal one, so I should do some more on this, but being back new with the podcasting, I'm enjoying that more.
Well, not more, but it's a different feel all together.
Who knows?

Rawlio's Worldcast is Back!!!I got back my Talktune, so Now, I've uploaded the old episode that I wasn't really happy to upload.
Not because I didn't like the content, I was sad that I couldn't find my talktune.
It's back...so am I.
Rawlio's back on the Podcastwaves ~!!!Labels: podcast
Election Day, Ducts and maybe a new Furnace...Lots has happened, and a lot still is going to happen.
our little house will be undergoing some major but not too major changes. First, we're going to get our Ducts cleaned, which should be good.. We noticed that they have not been cleaned in about 20 years.
a bit Dusty, if you do look in the ducts.
The next thing is that we're going to get a new furnace on Saturday. Heat will be good for our house come this winter. It's a new fandangled two-stage furnace that is high efficiency. We will be replacing our old furnace which is not eh opposite spectrum of efficiency.
Who knows? but we get to use our new thermostat, which is a programmable.
Yes, our 1920's house gets into the 2000's....
And Ontario's Election day just passed. We have the sweeping Majority of the Liberals, which is nice. On the Downside, I'm stuck in in Blue country with the Conservatives. If you're a Liberal, please don't turn your back on me. I did my civic duty as an Ontarian and voted.
And...
Down with MMP! That made me super happy.

Am I getting old?I was driving home a few days ago, and I saw a car that i remember as a child. It was a Camaro that would have been from the early 80's.
The plate on the car was "Classic Car" which i had to take a second look. Would cars from the 80's be considered Classic? I guess by definition that a car older than 20 years is a classic. Would that mean that I could get an old Chevette and deem it Classic?
I guess I'm taking issue to this because I remember those cars being new. I can only imagine those people who used to have the old Chevy's from th 50's and 60's who saw these cars as new.
I dunno. Maybe i am old, and I'm starting to get crotchety.
damn.

Bad Rawlio....no Blog for you...
first things first...I'm sorry for not blogging more often. I've really had no excuse not to blog.
Busy? Sure. But we all are busy in our own way. Life seems to do that to you.
What's been up since we've last talked.
Wedding: We're going to have only a small number at the wedding. The Chan family alone would put the numbers over 100, so we're going to limit it to only immediate family.
We're getting a new Furnace, so that's gonna hurt.
We're going to have Thanksgiving at our place, so that's exciting. LInda's parents, her brother and his girlfriend, Linda's friend and my dad. Again, us Chan's are not used to being outnumbered at family functions.
Halloween party here on October 27th.
And that's really it. I had some neat things to blog about, but I'll save those for later.
