T-minus 1 day
Ok, so we've gone and set up the reception hall. Linda's out with her friends to chill, and I'm home.
I gonna head to dad's tonight. Mark's gonna come and stay at our place with me. Then, in the morning, we can get ready, and he's got a way to the temple and all that.
Eek. it's close.

T-Minus 2 days...
It's getting close.
Am I nervous? Yeah, I'll admit it. It's the next big stage in my life. When I moved out with linda, that was a big step. Then when we bought the house, that was big.
This, is longer than the 25 year mortgage we signed up for.
A bit nervous...

Goodbye Simon
Sadly, Simon passed away.
He was my convict cichlid that I had when I was dating my ex-girlfriend. Simon was over 8 years old. I would say that he was 8, but I had him back in 1999. So,really he was like 9 years old.
So Long, Simon. Mom and big Fish can take care of you. Say hi to Buffy for us.

Happy Belated Family day
I hope you all enjoyed a good holiday on Monday.
For those who don't work or live in ontario, and don't work for the Federal Gov't, I hope you had a great day.
I did my passport, and cleaned the house.
but this blog is about my morning adventure. My little fish was not doing so well, so I linda said she'll help me clean out the filter.
For some reason, the filter kept running, and I pretty much dumped about 15 litres of water on the floor. We ran and got mops and towels to clean up the mess, but it was a lot of water.
luckily we got it all. So, 20 minutes later, and a whack of wet towels and socks, the aquarium was done.
Man, that's why I'm marrying this Girl.
oh yeah, it's like 10 days away...

Happy Valentine's Day!
So, it's that day that we're all convinced was created by the card companies to have some kind of holiday to make people buy things.
Well, enjoy it. Again, what is it really about? Do you have to show your 'other' that you love them by celebrating it on this day? What happened to every other day?
Again, if you're a sucker for this event, enjoy. May Cupid's Arrow shoot you may you be happy for the rest of your day.
And for the rest of you....isn't Steak and BJ day March 14th? Just as arbitrary? For me, I'll opt for the chicken and BJ, or even some beer and BJ.

Holy Snow
Ok, It's been all over the news, and every report we see..
Snow!
But yeah, it's pretty nuts. Linda and I woke up to about 30cm on the car. Just insane.
Anything new? Linda's Stagette this weekend.
Giants?!?!
Man, was I way off..
Who would have thought that the Giants would have pulled that one off? Sorry, New England. I guess it wasn't in the cards for you.
And Holy Snow! We got dumped on for about 30 hours, and it was quite messy. I got to go home early because it was really bad.
Linda and chilled when we got home, and then our super-fantastic neighbors cleaned our driveway!
But that's been said. Saturday night, Chris and I went to visit some old high school friends. Admittidly, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go, but it was really fun.
I was chatting with people I haven't seen in over 16 years. Just Trippy. And looking at everone, we look the same, save for some more grey hairs and wrinkles.
And even the idea of sneaking into people's parents houses to have a party, we're now owning our own homes, and starting our own familys.
weird....
Where have I been?
Good question.
Just busy in the life of Rawlio. I went skiing with Linda one night, some special projects at work have been keeping me busy in the afternoon, and just other litle errands to run; all take up my precious blogging time.
It's been quite a storm here in the GTA, with about 25cm of snow. The neighbors dug us out which was super nice. I can't believe they just decided to come over and snow-blow the sidewalk, and our driveway. Man, you can't get better neighbors than that. Thanks Pat and Ryan, the son! Hopefully you're reading this.
In the world and otehr news, the wedding is coming39382
close. Linda's stagette/shower is next week which I have to leave the house for a few days.
And tomorrow is Super Bowl. Let's see how much 'chutzpah' I have to make my prediction of the game.
Patriots 56, Giants, 34 (or,I say the Patriots win, and beat the spread.
Good luck Super bowl Fans.
